Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is hiring a dining room server at Hilton Garden Inn Starkville, MS. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with a focus on friendly service and accuracy.

The role requires 3–6 months in food/beverage service, TIPs certification, and strong English communication. You will work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 3–6 months experience in a food/beverage services environment.
• TIPs certified.
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English.
• Vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks and operate in dimly lit areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serve orders, and accommodate special requests.
• Complete opening/closing side-work, restocking, and cleaning duties.
• Memorize menu items, recipes and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness in restaurant, wait-station, and service areas to meet health standards.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately to safeguard guests and the company.
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings to improve communication and product knowledge.
