Job summary

Burton House Beverly Hills is seeking a courteous restaurant server to provide friendly, efficient food and beverage service in a fast-paced hotel setting. You will greet guests, take orders, describe menu items, and help ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities include processing payments via POS, verifying age for alcohol service, maintaining clean dining areas, performing opening/closing tasks, and cooperating with team to uphold Azul Hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Strong leadership and team coordination.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and take orders.
• Describe menu items and suggest products.
• Process orders and handle cash/credit card payments.
• Verify age for alcohol service and ensure legal compliance.
• Set up and clean tables; maintain cleanliness of restaurant area.
• Open and close duties and side work as assigned.
• Follow safety and cash handling policies.
• Report maintenance issues to management.
