Limestone BBQ and Bourbon in Newark, DE is seeking friendly Cashiers/Hosts to welcome guests, process payments, seat guests, and help ensure a smooth dining experience. You will greet customers, take orders, and support team members during busy periods.

This frontline role emphasizes excellent communication, basic math and POS familiarity. Previous cashier or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with guests and team members
• Attention to detail in cash handling and order accuracy
• Basic math skills for transactions and making change
• Customer service orientation and ability to handle inquiries
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register procedures
• Cashier or restaurant experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables
• Process payments accurately (cash, card) and issue receipts
• Assist guests with menu items and take orders
• Manage order accuracy and accommodate special requests
• Keep the cashier area clean and organized
• Monitor supplies and assist team during busy periods
• Support front-of-house and kitchen staff as needed
