Job summary

Limestone BBQ and Bourbon in New York, NY is seeking servers to deliver memorable dining experiences. You will take food and beverage orders, serve guests promptly, and ensure service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are outgoing, detail-oriented, with strong guest relations and ability to multitask during peak hours. Evening and weekend availability required; ABC certification and alcohol service knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in food service/hospitality is preferred.
• ABC Certification - DE is required.
• Knowledge of Responsible Alcohol Service (RAS) procedures per laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome to guests and engage in conversation.
• Present food and beverage options in an informational, friendly manner.
• Inform guests of specials and promotions and make suggestions.
• Enter orders accurately into POS for kitchen transmission.
• Check guest IDs to ensure legal age for alcohol.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address requests.
• Maintain safe food handling and cleanliness.
• Encourage contactless payments and process payments accurately.
• Bus tables and reset tables for next guests.
• Perform shift opening/closing duties and duties as assigned.
