Job summary

Ancho & Agave in Lees Summit, MO is hiring part-time servers to create a memorable dining experience. You will greet guests, explain menu items, take orders, and ensure guests are satisfied while maintaining a clean, efficient service area.

The role requires a friendly, hardworking team player with English communication skills, a basic wine knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Benefits include meal discounts and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Server in a table-service restaurant, preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Valid alcohol certification.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Elevated knowledge of wine & spirits.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
• Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
• High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and offer menu assistance.
• Present menu specials and answer questions about ingredients.
• Take orders, deliver food and beverages, ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash and credit payments and report to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with side work and teamwork.
