Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Server. You will welcome guests, monitor their dining experience, and ensure satisfaction with food and service.

You will stay educated on our menu, answer questions about offerings and dietary needs, perform side work, present the final bill, process payments, and report gratuities to IRS standards. A positive team player with flexible days, nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Welcome guests and monitor dining experience; respond promptly and courteously to requests.
• Remain educated on our menu offerings and answer questions about food, beverages, dietary restrictions and other restaurant functions and services.
• Perform side work for each shift and maintain service areas throughout shift.
• Prepare and present final bill, process payment, and report all gratuities received to comply with IRS standards of reporting income.
• Be a positive energy contributor, ready to assist staff and work as a team player.
• 18 years of age or older and at least one year of prior restaurant or relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and all guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
