Job summary

Paradies Lagardere in Grand Rapids is seeking a Guest Server who delivers First Class service to guests and partners. You will present the menu, answer questions, make suggestions, take and deliver orders, and ensure guests receive their correct food and drinks.

You must be able to handle money with a POS system, work varied shifts, maintain a clean work area, and uphold food safety and responsible alcohol service. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience handling money with a POS system.
• Ability to work varied shifts and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lb and stand for long periods.
• Commitment to food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Exceed First Class Service standards with every guest and partner.
• Present the menu, answer questions, and make suggestions.
• Take and deliver guest orders accurately and promptly.
• Ensure guests receive correct food and beverage orders.
• Handle payments quickly while following cash handling SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist other sections as needed.
• Know all menu items, specials, and beverage offerings.
• Support seating, telephone service, stock, and documentation as required.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations including food safety and alcohol service.
