Job summary

The Dalmar Fort Lauderdale, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, invites applications for Sparrow Server. You will deliver courteous food and beverage service, handle orders in the POS system, and support sustainability standards.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, restaurant or bar experience, and knowledge of POS systems. TIPS certification is preferred. Roles include full-time and part-time opportunities with benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food and beverage experience required or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of POS systems is preferred.
• TIPS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the point of service system.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Set and clear tables in dining areas.
• Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws.
• Pick up orders from food prep areas and ensure food is prepared as ordered.
• Prepare guest checks and complete payment transactions when needed.
• Assist with bartending and bussing during peak periods or shortages.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve departmental results.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines and safety standards.
