Job summary

The Dalmar, Fort Lauderdale, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is seeking a Barista to provide quality coffee and beverage service in line with guest service standards. You will take orders, operate the POS, and support sustainability practices.

Role requires customer service experience and possibly prior barista work. Schedule may include weekends/holidays. Benefits include growth opportunities and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Barista experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take coffee, beverage and food orders, input orders into POS system, collect payment and prepare orders.
• Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
• Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure appliances are turned on/off at the appropriate times.
• Stock and maintain work areas.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and work areas throughout the day.
