Job summary

The Westin Cleveland Downtown, operated by HEI Hotels and Resorts, seeks a friendly server to provide guests with exceptional service in a busy downtown cantina setting. You will greet guests, take and input orders, deliver meals and beverages, and ensure satisfaction throughout shifts.

Candidates should be comfortable with POS systems, able to lift up to 30 lbs, and uphold high standards of etiquette and service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and carry trays.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check station before, during and after shift for proper setup and cleanliness.
• Greet guests and explain specials.
• Record and input orders into POS.
• Deliver orders to guests with appropriate condiments and gratuities.
• Abide by all alcohol service requirements and regulations.
• Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Close out checks and present the check to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
