Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Server to welcome and seat guests, and to serve food and/or beverages while delivering outstanding guest service. You will follow a daily schedule, perform proper setup, maintenance, and break-down of the restaurant, and ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires clear communication, ability to work flexible shifts including holidays, and teamwork with hotel guests and staff. Benefits include health plans, 401k with matching, paid PTO, and uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months Customer Service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days (if not certified).
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area.
• Provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel & restaurant guest & staff.
• Serve food and beverage in accordance with standards and in a professional courteous manner.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition.
• Adhere to all Brand Standards regarding Food and Beverage and Service.
• Assist with the set up and cleanliness of the Restaurant.
• Assist with clearing and set-up of tables.
• Communicate effectively with Management and other Team Members.
• Use Point of Sale (POS) system as required.
