Job summary

Ascent Hospitality seeks a Server to warmly welcome guests, seat them comfortably, and deliver food and beverages with outstanding service. You will follow a daily service routine, maintain setup, and uphold brand standards across restaurant operations.

The role requires good English, neat appearance, teamwork, and the ability to work flexible shifts including holidays. Training may include TIPS certification within 30 days and solid guest-focused communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months Customer Service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days (if not certified).
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area.
• Maintain a proactive guest service approach at all times.
• Assist with seating guests as needed (in the absence of the hostess).
• Provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel & restaurant guest & staff.
• Serve food and beverage in accordance with standards and in a professional courteous manner.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition.
• Adhere to all Brand Standards regarding Food and Beverage and Service.
• Assist with the set up and cleanliness of the Restaurant.
• Assist with clearing and set-up of tables.
• Assist with restocking of supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with Management and other Team Members.
• Use Point of Sale (POS) system as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/ manager.
• Perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/ manager
