Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Server to warmly greet guests, seat guests when needed, and provide attentive food and beverage service in our dining area. You will maintain menu knowledge and ensure a clean, welcoming environment while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be a team player, and possess excellent communication. TIPS certification may be required within 30 days, and uniforms are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months Customer Service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days (if not certified).
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and assist seating as needed.
• Provide fast, friendly, professional service and respond to guest needs.
• Serve food and beverages and maintain knowledge of menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and setup of the restaurant area.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Operates POS system to process guest orders.
