Palisociety is seeking a friendly Server for Le Petit Pali St Helena. You will warmly greet guests, relay menu details accurately, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include handling payments via Micros, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting coworkers to deliver top-notch service in a busy resort setting. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience as a Server in a quality full-service or fast-casual environment.
• Clear thinker who remains calm and resolves problems with good judgment; works well in a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, anticipate, and meet guest needs, responding quickly without losing focus on the dining experience.
• Communicate professionally with guests, coworkers, and management, adapting to different personalities.
• Understand the full menu of food and beverage items, communicating it to guests effectively and accurately.
• Recognize and resolve problems using good judgment, tact, and initiative, in line with policy.
• Perform basic accounting and math, operate cash registers, the Micros system, and hot beverage makers.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace per side-work guidelines.
