Palihouse Santa Barbara, part of Palisociety, is seeking a friendly Server to warmly serve food, drinks, and coffee while building genuine connections with guests.

You will anticipate guest needs, communicate professionally, learn the full menu, and handle basic cash-handling tasks with care. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential to deliver the memorable hospitality Palihouse is known for.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience as a Server in a high-quality full-service or fast-casual environment.
• Clear thinker who stays calm and resolves problems using good judgment; works cohesively as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess, anticipate, and meet guest needs, responding quickly without losing focus on the dining experience.
• Communicate professionally with guests, coworkers, and management, adapting to different personalities with ease.
• Understand the full menu of food and beverage items, communicating it to guests effectively and accurately.
• Recognize and resolve problems using good judgment, tact, and initiative, in line with company policy.
• Perform basic accounting and math, operating cash registers, the Micros system, and hot beverage makers.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace per side-work guidelines.
