Job summary

Carpenter Hotel in Austin, TX is seeking a friendly server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with a focus on hospitality and a seamless dining experience. You will work to uphold the hotel’s standards and contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to handle guest requests, and proficiency with POS and PMS systems. Hospitaliy experience is preferred; TABC/ServeSafe certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Approximately 6 months of hospitality/service experience.
• TABC and ServeSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escort customers to their tables.
• Present menus to patrons and answer questions about items.
• Describe and recommend wines to customers.
• Check IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
• Enter orders into the POS system to transmit to kitchen.
