Job summary

The Kitchen Bistro in Austin is seeking a guest-focused Server to join our community gathering spot with a seasonal menu and shared plates. You will take care of guests and contribute to warm, relaxed hospitality while supporting the team through busy shifts.

This role rewards teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tables with poise. You should love working with people, be 18+, and ready to serve alcohol in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow within

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior service with guests at the forefront.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and dietary considerations; suggest specials.
• Set up tables, serve food and refills; relay orders to kitchen; ensure timely delivery.
• Deliver warm, relaxed hospitality and manage multiple tables efficiently.
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and support colleagues as needed; promote teamwork.
• Learn beverage knowledge and assist with beverage pairings.
