Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Denver is seeking a Server Assistant to ensure food is run hot and fresh, tables are cleared, and guests experience prompt, friendly service.

You will assist the bar, help with glass rotation, manage ice bins, and support the team in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and on top of multitasking.

The ideal candidate will communicate clearly in English, be reliable, and contribute to a positive atmosphere with a strong guest-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a busy dining room.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required.
• Food Handlers Card required.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests
• Maintain the cleanliness of dining area and serving stations
• Bussing dining room tables
• Responding to guests’ requests and informing management of any complaints
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings
• Ensuring the timely delivery of food items
• Ensuring the server station is adequately stocked with necessary supplies
• Must be self-motivated and willing to assist wherever needed
