Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a guest-facing server/waitstaff to greet and serve guests per standards. You will take orders, answer menu questions, and ensure dishes meet appearance and quality expectations.

The role requires standing/walking and the ability to lift 30 lbs, with a team-oriented mindset. Strong English communication and professional presentation are essential, and you’ll contribute to a positive guest experience while assisting coworkers as needed in a fast-paced hotel

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers; be a team player.
• Able to withstand prolonged standing/walking.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual.
• Do all necessary set-up sidework as assigned.
• Answer guest questions about the menu.
• Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system (where applicable).
• Check food before serving it to guests to ensure appearance, temperature, and portions are correct.
