Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is hiring a restaurant server to greet and serve guests according to standards at our hotel locations in the United States. The role focuses on accurate order taking, timely service, and maintaining guest satisfaction while adhering to service manuals and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include upselling when appropriate, answering menu questions, handling POS transactions, and maintaining professional appearance and conduct.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Willing to pitch-in and help co-workers; be a team player.
• Must withstand prolonged standing/walking.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual.
• Do all necessary set-up sidework as assigned.
• Answer guest questions about the menu.
• Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system (where applicable).
• Check food before serving to ensure appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
