Ironbound Projects in New York is seeking an experienced Server for a high-volume restaurant/lounge. You will take orders, answer questions, suggest menu items, and ensure timely service with a friendly, professional demeanor.

The role emphasizes allergy inquiries, POS entry, cash handling, teamwork, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience. Prior hospitality experience, ability to stand long hours, and a flexible schedule including

Qualifications

• Previous server/hospitality experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge.
• Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Presents menus, answers questions and makes suggestions for all food and beverage items.
• Informs guests of all food and beverage specials, with prices.
• Solicits allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest.
• Entrers orders into the POS system and handles cash/card procedures.
• Ensures timely delivery of all food and beverages to guests.
• Maintains knowledge of all menus and the company.
• Provides alcohol service according to state regulations and training standards.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness per standards.
• Handles end-of-shift financial procedures.
• Communicates guest needs to FOH and BOH staff and management.
