Job summary

Arlo NoMad is seeking a Restaurant Server to enhance guest experiences with attentive service and clear communication between front-of-house and the kitchen. You will influence the pace and quality of service, ensure orders are entered accurately, and maintain clean, organized service areas throughout your shift.

The role emphasizes honesty, courtesy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering a memorable dining experience to guests.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 5 hours).

Responsibilities

• Take guests’ food and beverage orders, utilize salesmanship techniques, and make appropriate recommendations.
• Accurately input orders into POS system.
• Document all orders on a server duplicate pad as a backup record in case the POS system is ever inoperative.
• Retrieve all beverages from the service bar and serve promptly.
• Open all wine and champagne bottles using proper wine service techniques.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly.
