Job summary

Embergrove Hospitality is seeking a Server to join our dining team in Mason City, IA. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guests have a smooth, enjoyable experience.

You will work with a fast-paced team, handle payments, maintain clean dining areas, and follow health and safety standards, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer service or food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service or food service.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers promptly and courteously, providing menus and answering initial questions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns or special requests.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and support during busy periods.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to provide a safe dining environment.
