Job summary

IHOP is looking for a friendly team member to provide prompt, courteous service to guests. You will greet, seat, take and serve orders, and clear and reset tables while upholding sanitary standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate order communication, and adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines in a fast-paced dining environment. Experience is desirable but not required; training is provided to become proficient in menu knowledge, service steps, and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or training is desired, but may not be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them promptly and courteously.
• Take and serve orders, deliver food and drinks to tables.
• Clear dishes and reset tables; maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP guests and staff.
• Communicate guest orders accurately and promptly to kitchen staff.
• Follow SOPs for guest checks, cash handling, and health/safety guidelines.
• Stock and rotate service area supplies; assist with other duties as needed.

Education

Experience or training in hospitality (desirable)
