Job summary

TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants is seeking an Applebee’s server who will delight guests by exceeding expectations, serving food and beverages, and providing a courteous, timely dining experience. You will uphold Applebee’s service standards and contribute to a welcoming, collaborative team environment in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires excellent guest service, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and physical stamina for mobility and lifting up to 20 pounds.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good attitude toward teamwork.
Strong work ethic, with a willingness to take initiative.
Confident, outgoing demeanor.
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to be mobile for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop and lift up to 20 pounds.
Be of legal age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and interact to create a friendly, upbeat work environment.
Familiarize guests with the menu and suggest items when requested.
Take orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule.
Serve food and beverages using the TEAM delivery system.
Pre-bus tables and keep the area clean and comfortable.
Collect payment from customers using QR code or POS.
Complete daily cleaning tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Anticipate guests' needs to enhance dining experience.
