Job summary

Applebee’s is seeking a server to delight guests by delivering food and beverages with courtesy and timeliness, following Applebee’s service steps. You will greet guests, explain the menu, take orders, and handle payments while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Prior hospitality experience is a plus, and legal age to serve alcohol is required.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience
