Job summary

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a server who delights guests by providing friendly, timely service and menu recommendations. You will take orders, input them accurately in the POS, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

Ideal candidates bring excellent customer service, a positive attitude, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. You should be comfortable lifting up to 20 pounds and standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience
