Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Indiana, PA is looking for a friendly Server Assistant to welcome guests, seat them using our Table Management System (TMS), and support the service team to ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

You will greet guests, assist with seating and take-out orders, help with refills and cleanliness, and uphold safe food handling standards in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required, 16+ age required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• No prior work experience required.
• Friendly guest service oriented.
• Knowledge of food handling and serving regulations.
• Cash handling transactions in compliance with policies.
• Ability to operate a computer, calculator, phone and other office equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests using the Table Management System (TMS).
• Assist service team with delivering food and beverages.
• Answer guests’ questions in a friendly manner.
• Maintain clean and orderly server assistant stand and lobby.
• Bag and manage takeout orders; check for accuracy.
• Observe tables and assist with refills and silverware.
