Job summary

Ruby Tuesday in Florence, SC, is seeking a Server Assistant to provide a friendly welcome and farewell to guests. Using the Table Management System (TMS), you will seat guests and assist the service team to ensure every guest leaves happy.

You will support the team by delivering food and beverages, pre-bussing, and providing refills when possible, while maintaining a clean server stand and lobby area. Previous experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Use the Table Management System (TMS) to seat guests and manage flow.
• Maintain a welcoming attitude and support a teamwork-based environment.
• Greet guests, assign tables in the TMS, and notify guests if there is a wait.
• Inform guests about features, promotions, and menu suggestions.
• Assist team by delivering food and beverages and resetting tables as needed.
• Set up and maintain the server assistant stand and front lobby area.
• Answers phones and helps guests with questions in a friendly manner.
• Deliver drinks and food to guests when needed and ensure accuracy of orders.
• Practice safe food handling and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Assist with takeout orders and ensure order accuracy.
• Observe tables and keep track of table status and cleanliness.
