Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift Store is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome customers and assist them in-store, while supporting loss prevention. You will enforce store policies, such as bag checks at the counter, and provide exceptional service to enhance the shopping experience.

The role emphasizes strong people skills, vigilance for security, and the ability to work in a busy thrift store environment. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Awareness of loss prevention best practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
• Maintain awareness of activities on the sales floor to prevent losses.
• Ask customers to leave large bags or backpacks at the counter.
• Assist customers by answering questions and guiding them to departments.
• Report incidents and collaborate with staff on loss prevention.
• Stay at the store entrance to deter theft and ensure safety.
• Deliver excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
