Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford seeks a Sale Associate to guide guests through the merchandise experience, greet guests, answer questions, and handle sales transactions with confident product knowledge and a friendly attitude.

Role requires flexibility for holidays and weekends, successful background check, and good grooming. Prior gaming industry experience is preferred and expected to maintain a vibrant guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications per Federal, State and Illinois Gaming Board regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass background check.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and answer questions politely.
• Handle sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain proper cash drawer balances.
• Direct guests to areas and restrooms; promote products with knowledge and enthusiasm.
• Create memorable guest experiences and encourage up-sell opportunities.
