Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Restaurant Server for a full-time position in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. The server will provide friendly, professional service in the dining room, lounge, and banquets while ensuring food and beverage quality.

The role requires standing/walking for long periods, ability to lift trays, and the capacity to handle guest interactions with care. Evening/weekend availability is expected; earn $16 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Prior server experience preferred.
• Ability to perform arithmetic for totals and change.
• Strong communication to serve guests effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally.
• Take drink orders and present menu, answer questions and suggest items.
• Recommend wine selections when appropriate.
• Relay orders to kitchen and beverage services accurately.
• Observe guests to anticipate needs and provide timely service.
• Clear and reset tables after guest departure.
• Complete side work and keep areas clean.
• Follow MSDS safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist with setup and refresh of function rooms.
• Attend department meetings for service standards.
