Job summary

Black Butte Ranch, a destination resort in Central Oregon, seeks a Reservations Agent to deliver outstanding guest service while assisting guests with lodging reservations and planning. You will be the knowledge resource on accommodations, amenities, and policies, ensuring accurate bookings and smooth cross-department communication.

The role focuses on delivering a memorable guest experience and may involve upselling resort lodging, golf, dining, and amenities.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, reservations, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn reservation software.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform light tasks.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while booking lodging reservations.
• Assist guests and homeowners with reservation inquiries and requests.
• Communicate lodging options and resort policies clearly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, and property management.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and reservation leads; upsell amenities.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and run daily reports.
• Support Front Desk and Guest Services operations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
