Job summary

Island Hospitality Management is seeking a Ranger to assist with site set-ups for arriving and departing guests at the RV resort. You will escort arrivals after hours, communicate issues to the Resort Manager, and monitor pools for unregistered guests while providing excellent customer service.

The role may require flexible scheduling and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include site checks, safety reporting, and assisting guests across the property.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use email and the internet.
• Flexibility to work events during non-business hours.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead RVs to sites and ensure proper alignment within site areas.
• Assist guests with site setup as needed.
• Check transient sites daily for departures.
• Remove trash from recently vacated transient sites.
• Report maintenance issues to Resort Manager.
• Handle guest questions and complaints and direct to appropriate department.
• Patrol resort to assist guests and ensure accessibility.
• Treat sites for fire ant infestation as needed.
• Inspect tie-downs for safety and condition.
• Oversee sales of sewer donuts and electrical adapters when applicable.
• Complete site measurements as requested.
• Deliver packages and mail to appropriate sites.
• Assist with coverage of the main gate when needed.
• Routinely check pools for unregistered guests.
• Tag vehicles for removal at unrented sites.
• Follow safety procedures in all duties.
