Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties is seeking a Campground Ranger to patrol grounds, enforce rules, and ensure the safety of guests and their belongings. The role involves calm handling of stressful situations and adherence to local, state, and federal laws.

The position requires monitoring property, securing areas, managing guest access at the campground gate, and handling reservations and store sales while prioritizing guest satisfaction. Weekend/holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing and math; ability to use computer applications.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Assess situations, exercise judgment, and resolve problems diplomatically.
• Exceptional customer service and communications; friendly demeanor.
• Security/Law enforcement experience or RV environment exposure is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays regularly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the property with a keen eye for issues and potential problems.
• Ensure the property is properly secured and guests follow rules.
• Respond to concerns and contact law enforcement if necessary.
• Monitor campground gate access and validate entry.
• Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
• Take camping reservations, check guests in/out and sell day passes/store items.
• Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
