Job summary

Knob Hill Inn, part of Columbia Hospitality, Inc., in Ketchum, ID, is looking for a proactive Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, manage efficient check-in and check-out, issue room keys, apply guest credits, and resolve questions with patience and speed, ensuring every arrival starts positively.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous experience in cash handling & computerized POS system preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-in and check-out efficiently according to hotel procedures.
• Be proficient with the property management system.
• Operate PBX and radio paging system per procedures.
• Establish credit at check-in; issue keys and explain hotel services.
• Resolve guest issues promptly while coordinating with management when needed.
• Follow up with guests and team members to ensure satisfaction.
• Make restaurant, transportation, activity, or entertainment reservations for guests.
