Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate in Rochester, NY to welcome guests, resolve issues, and provide a seamless shopping experience across in-store and digital services. You will greet guests, help locate items, explain features, and drive loyalty enrollment while upholding safety and store policies.

The role requires strong communication, adaptability to fast-paced environments, and a friendly, team-oriented attitude. Training will cover checkout operations, promotions, and customer care basics.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks.
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
