Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead on-floor presence to ensure service standards are met in dining room and kitchen.
• Coach FOH and BOH teams daily on guest experience fundamentals such as speed, attentiveness, accuracy, cleanliness, and recovery.
• Use guest feedback, data, and mystery shop results to identify gaps and create targeted action plans.
• Analyze sales forecasts, labor models, and POS data to optimize staffing and scheduling.
• Review performance scorecards and drive accountability around labor %, COGS %, and speed-of-service targets.
• Assist with inventory processes, waste tracking, purchasing accuracy, and variance investigations.
• Prepare accurate reports, checklists, and operational analyses.
• Lead hiring decisions and ongoing coaching, setting expectations from day one.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to set service expectations and energize the team.
• Recognize performance and address issues promptly and fairly.
• Fill operational gaps as needed to maintain smooth service with a leaders-serve-first mindset.
• Verify food quality and safety per recipes and standards; ensure sanitation and regulatory compliance.
• Plan and adjust labor deployment based on trends and guest counts; support menu planning and recipe testing.
• Seek opportunities to improve kitchen efficiency, FOH staffing, and guest flow.
• Support special events, catering, and promotional activities.
