Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Gallery Host to ensure guest satisfaction through check-in/check-out and coordinated hotel services. You will promote hotel services and outlets, and share information about events in the hotel and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have hotel or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and POS systems. You will be friendly, guest-centric, and knowledgeable about the local area.

Qualifications

• One year of hotel, customer service and/or sales experience.
• Proven leadership, excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills to include Word, Excel and Adobe.
• Knowledge of local area and POS systems is a plus.
• Upsell during check-in to maximize room rates; greet, register, and assign rooms.

Responsibilities

• Register guests promptly and courteously using up-selling techniques.
• Handle guest check-in/check-out and VIP arrivals.
• Manage the Gallery Host Stand, Guest Kitchen and e-room.
• Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints with appropriate action.
• Complete daily paperwork including cash handling, adjustments, and postings.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
