Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company seeks a Guest Experience Manager for Mammoth Lakes, CA. You will oversee lobby operations, concierge services and activities, while ensuring high guest satisfaction and prompt resolution of concerns.

The role includes stepping in for Front Office Manager when needed. Requirements include a four-year degree or 1–2 years in luxury hospitality, 2+ years in guest service, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or 1-2 years of experience in a luxury or full-service property setting.
• Minimum of two years' guest service or hospitality experience.
• Marriott/Westin experience beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

A little about this position:

Guest Experience Manager oversees lobby operations and hotel amenities, such as bell/valet services, concierge and activities. Manages guest concerns, satisfaction and guest recovery ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Performs duties of the Front Office Manager in their absence.

Requirements:

• Four-year college degree or 1-2 years of previous experience in a luxury or full-service property setting.
• Minimum of two years' guest service or hospitality experience.
• Marriott/Westin experience beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1-year management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of business software emphasis on MS Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Professional demeanor, attitude and appearance.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, employees and management.
• Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines in a high-volume setting.
• Flexibility in scheduling based on guest demand and occupancy changes.
• Candidates should enjoy public interaction and display a positive attitude with a willingness to serve.

Pay: $70,304.00 - $73,732.50 per year
