Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company seeks a Guest Experience Manager for The Westin Monache in Mammoth Lakes, CA. You will oversee lobby operations, concierge and activities, ensuring guest satisfaction while handling guest concerns and recovery.

Marriott/Westin experience is advantageous, with MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills a must. Requirements include a four-year college degree or 1–2 years in a luxury property, plus 2+ years in guest service.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or 1–2 years of previous experience in a luxury or full-service property setting.
• Minimum of two years' guest service or hospitality experience.
• Marriott/Westin experience beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of business software with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lobby operations and hotel amenities including bell/valet, concierge and activities.
• Manage guest concerns, satisfaction and recovery to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform duties of the Front Office Manager in their absence.
