Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Valid driver’s license from the applicable state.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Light hours sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guests’ requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents at Front Desk or via reservations and communications.
• Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline Guest Services staff per Highgate SOPs.
• Carry a cell phone at all times.
• Conduct Guest Services interviews and follow hiring procedures per SOPs.
• Develop employee morale and ensure training of Guest Services personnel.
• Maximize room revenue and occupancy; monitor rate variance and house count.
