Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Guest Service Specialist to serve as the front-end point person for hospitality, guest flow, and cash operations. You will lead by example, ensuring efficient front-end displays, and consistent cash office controls and audits to leave every guest with an exceptional impression.

You will educate guests on products, manage checkout flow, support digital orders, and help oversee inventory and team effectiveness to minimize loss.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask and work at a fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible example of hospitality, educating guests and team members on products and services.
• Manage frontend guest flow and efficiency by directing and supporting cashiers.
• Execute and uphold cash office procedures, including management of cash, keys, and the safe.
• Direct the guest service team as scheduled to maintain cleanliness at the front end and restrooms.
• Support execution of digital fulfillment orders with speed and accuracy.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach throughout the store.
• Assist in managing the department, inventories, and team to minimize product loss.
