Job summary

Midtown Athletic Clubs is seeking a Hospitality Front Desk Lead to create a positive experience for members and hotel guests while managing the front desk and hospitality team. You will train and lead staff, handle check-ins, payments, and registrations in a fast-paced club environment.

You will ensure policy adherence, maintain desk cleanliness, and deliver exceptional service by coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance as needed, while guiding associates to embody Midtown’s values.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a health club or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to hire, train and lead productive service-minded associates.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism and optimism while directing the work of associates.
• Assist with front desk training and holding associates accountable for defined procedures and behaviors.
• Help members with program registration, payment processing, and scheduling services.
• Handle check-ins, address questions and resolve issues appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness of hospitality desk areas to contribute to an exceptional facility experience.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance when issues are reported.
• Answer queries regarding club services and facilities.
• Implement processes to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, cashiering, filing, and clerical duties.
• Assist with inventory of product and supplies.
