Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Experience Manager to lead a salon and boutique team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving services, retail sales, and top-line growth across makeup, skincare, and services.

You will mentor stylists and guest coordinators, uphold standards, manage schedules, coaching, and ensure compliance with company policies while building an inclusive, high-performing store culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Cosmetology license and/or cosmetology management license per state law.
• 2–3+ years retail management or equivalent leadership experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• Experience driving guest experience, sales, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed store goals for services, boutiques, retail sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Manage staffing and scheduling to maximize productivity while staying within payroll budgets.
• Address underperforming metrics by developing strategies using company programs and resources.
• Develop and coach direct reports, maintain clientele, and support professional development.
• Lead makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Stay informed on industry trends and product benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain punctual attendance and ensure others adhere to the attendance policy.
