Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. seeks an Experience Manager to lead a high-performing team of stylists, estheticians, guest coordinators, and managers. You will drive guest experience, retail and salon services, and contribute to top-line growth.

You will recruit and develop talent, implement training, and ensure compliance with company standards while delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced beauty environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Cosmetology license and/or a cosmetology management license where required by state law.
• 2-3+ years relevant, fast-paced retail management work experience or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense.
• Cosmetology management:Advanced competency in services, including sales, guest experience, and product attachment; knowledge of Board of Cosmetology regulations and hiring requirements.
• Retail management: proven ability with monitoring inventory levels, achieving operational excellence, driving a service culture, and executing merchandise directives.
• Leadership management: experience with attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, adapting to change and leading others.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability to meet store goals across services, boutiques, and retail sales.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and sales growth.
• Develop staffing plans, manage schedules, and optimize payroll within budget.
• Address underperforming metrics with strategies from company programs and resources.
• Lead makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching to managers and associates to enable development and growth.
• Ensure adherence to Ulta Beauty policies, dress code, and attendance requirements.
• Foster an inclusive environment and model teamwork and guest-service excellence.
