Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Experience Manager (EM) to lead a high-performing team and deliver top-line sales growth across salon services, boutiques, and retail. The EM ensures exceptional guest experiences, driving NPS, loyalty, and service excellence while maintaining attendance and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a drive for results in beauty retail, strong people leadership, and the ability to develop teams through coaching, training, and effective communication, with accountability

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years relevant, fast-paced retail management work experience or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: success with driving top-line sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expense.
• Cosmetology management: advanced competency in services, including sales, guest experience, and product attachment; knowledge of regulatory hiring requirements.
• Retail management: monitoring inventory, achieving operational excellence, driving a service culture, and executing merchandise directives.
• Leadership management: attracting, developing, and motivating top talent, adapting to change, and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Champion Ulta Beauty’s mission, vision, and values to drive guest experience and sales across services, boutiques, and retail.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of salon staff, guest coordinators, and managers to achieve APGs and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to store policies, procedures, safety, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Drive topline sales and profitability through effective scheduling, payroll planning, and performance management.
• Provide coaching and development, conduct training, and manage performance reviews and succession planning.
