Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a courteous server to lead dining room service, ensuring a seamless guest experience with wine knowledge and attentive upselling. You will communicate clearly, manage orders in the POS, and maintain polished table and bar areas.

Role requires previous bartending/serving experience, ability to work high-pressure situations, and a collaborative attitude to support the team and training of new staff.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, serving and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to think and communicate clearly in high pressure situations.
• Knowledgeable of the menu, ingredients and cooking techniques; familiar with drink recipes and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests within 1 minute of being seated and leads through the dining experience.
• Provides gracious, professional service; answers questions and upsells when appropriate.
• Knows the menu, brands, prices, promotions and restaurant specials; inputs orders into POS accurately.
• Communicates allergy and dietary restrictions clearly on tickets.
• Delivers and replenishes beverages; maintains timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handles payments, presents checks and counts back change accurately.
• Maintains clean, stocked tables and bar; assists with wine service when needed.
• Assists with training of new team members.
