Job summary

Wasatch Peaks Ranch is seeking a Lead Server to join the Food & Beverage team. This working leadership role provides mentorship to servers, coaches staff on menu knowledge, wine and beverage service, and steps of service to ensure an exceptional member dining experience.

You will lead by example, coordinate sections and service priorities, and collaborate with kitchen, bar, and management to maintain high standards. Flexibility for weekends and events is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-end restaurant or luxury hospitality preferred.
• Lead server or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to confidently lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and special events.
• Current alcohol-service certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service to members and their guests.
• Lead the front-of-house team during assigned shifts and serve as the primary point of contact for servers when management is unavailable.
• Assist with assigning sections, side work, opening and closing duties, and daily service priorities.
• Monitor the dining room to ensure proper service flow, table maintenance, pacing, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, host team, and management throughout service.
• Assist with inventory counts and product organization as directed by management.
• Support other Food & Beverage locations or departments as needed.
