Job summary

TavernWasatch Peaks Ranch in Morgan, UT is seeking a Lead Server to join the Food & Beverage team. This leadership role requires coaching, knowledge of food and beverage, and a commitment to delivering exceptional member and guest experiences.

You will lead servers, support daily operations, and ensure service standards are consistently met across shifts. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in a high-end restaurant, private club, resort, or luxury hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-of-house team during assigned shifts and serve as the primary point of contact for servers when management is unavailable.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, section assignments, and daily service priorities.
• Monitor dining room flow, pacing, and guest satisfaction; adjust service levels during high-volume periods as needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, host team, and management throughout service.
• Coach team members on menu knowledge, wine and beverage service, and steps of service.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and share daily specials and events with the team.
